This R2 disk arrived this morning after waiting what seems like years after seeing the concert at the Birmingham NEC.

After the initial thrill of the arrival I looked at the back of the case to see what the aspect ratio was and it says 4:3 :nono: :nono:

Yet on the front is a sticker saying "Shot in High Definition".

So I have played it and it saddens me to say that this is in 16:9 Letterbox! What a waste. What century are these people in, producing this format in this day and age?

Somewhat angered I wondered if Rip Off Britain were being ripped off again so did a search. This revealed that, apparently, the Canadian release is in 16:9 anamorphic whilst the US release appears to be the same as the UK.

Can anyone confirm this for sure?

If so I'll be tempted to order a second copy.

    Dave

Is the Canadian release 16:9? Is this confirmed yet?

    Thanks,
