I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but since the DeLonghi Magnifica 4200 seems to be mentioned by a few members I thought I'd ask here.

Basically I bought on the above coffee machines for my husband's birthday. He loves it and he's been experimenting with various types of "standard" beans (as in from different part of the world etc.).
    Now I've seen these:
English Toffee Flavoured Coffee Beans: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home

My question is, is there any reason these beans can't be used with the machine? I have no idea how the flavour is given to the beans and I don't want to buy something that risks clogging the machine or something.

And if you've tried the beans (or some other in the range), do they actually make nice coffee?

    Jenn,

I have a 4200 magnifica, and it states in the manual not to use flavoured beans.

I imagine they will be coated with something that causes the grinder to sieze.
