Flat Ribbon scart leads

Standard Member
Having recently been advised to get good quality shielded scarts for my new Sony recorder, can anybody advise me if the flat ribbon type are as good as the thicker cables ones.
Any help or advise on this will be appreciated.

They're just as good. I use a Vivanco ProWire which is flat in my system. It cost me about £12 IIRC inc postage from audiovisualonline.co.uk

bought a Wharfedale one as I remember at xmas from Argos £10ish no problem with quality, also good for sinking into walls, as I did with other cables.
