How do new flat panel speakers compare to normal floorstanding speakers? I was thinking of buying the Mission FS2-AV series for my other AV setup.

I am not that limited on space but it would be helpful. I currently have AE Ageis speakers on my main AV system, people have told me that the flat panels would be able to compete with my Ageis speakers. Is this correct?

    Thanks

    Have a look at http://www.flat-speaker.co.uk

The link will show you some reviews of the FS2.

I have personally heard the FS2 linked to a Denon amp and DVD and I think it is great.

Actually, if you'd like to test drive the technology very cheaply, http://www.qxl.co.uk has some multimedia flat speakers for auction. They are based on the same technology but obviously don't sound as good as the FS2's.

Do a search for 'flat speakers'.
