Flat Downlighting Help!

I just bought my new house. All the ceiling lighting looks like the pictures attached. I am looking to...


1. Install smart lighting that works without a hub but with my Alexa echo dots.
2. Colors are not super important but would be nice to have. Dimming thorugh Alexa is required.

What bulbs would you recommend? What type of bulb is that? What is the size of smart bulb I would replace it with?


I am replacing 12 lights. 4 in kitchen, 4 in main hallway and 4 in master bath. Price is a concern. Looking for best bang for the buck.

My recommendation if colour isn’t a factor is to add Shelly dimmer modules behind the light switches which will control each set of lights .

You can then control them by switch , app or voice

Total cost around £75 if three lighting circuits

Where are you bud? The use of twist on connectors makes me think you might not be in the UK like most are on here.

Looks like Florida
