Hello
Hope everyone is well

Been a member for about 10 years but never posted.
I'm looking for a new TV to buy since my nephew smashed my old TV... (good job it was only a cheap TV)
I'm looking for a flagship tv from the last few years like the panasonic dx902 or some Sony or Samsung TV.

Long-time lurker but first time posting on here. I'm looking to buy a TV for gaming, but I have a limited budget of about £400-£450 to spend.

I'd say budget depends on spec of the TV because recently I just missed a Panasonic zt60 (best plasma) sell for a very good price of 300 and also missed out on a flagship Sony for 600.

I'm located in West Yorkshire and am willing to travel if its the right tv.

Thanks

Hi, I have a Panasonic TX-P55VT65B Its been professionally ISF calibrated so along with the THX Cinema, THX Bright Room, dedicated Gaming picture settings, it also has ISFccc Night and ISFccc Day. Its in great condition has no ghosting, bleed through or retention issues, comes with all the original accessories 2 remotes tv stylus (unused!) its 3d capable which I used to enjoy on the Xbox, I don’t have working glasses as the batteries don’t hold charge. Though your welcome to have the 3 pairs that are here, I believe it’s possible to change the batteries if your diy minded. It also doesn’t have the original box anymore, I would be looking at £350 Collected Newark upon Trent.

The TV is sitting on a Quadraspire QXAV with 2 10mm adjustable glass shelves capable of carrying 60kg each, lockable frosted front glass doors that retract into the sidewalls of the cabinet should you keep a centre speaker or soundbar inside. It sits on very heavy duty castors, making access to your equipment easier. Beechwood veneers that have darkened nicely and evenly. 43” wide 24” deep combined carrying capacity of 280kg originally was £1200. I would be looking at £250 collected Newark upon Trent

I would do a deal on both for £500 and I will include a fully functioning Onkyo TX SR875 has the audysee mike for auto setup and is still a capable 7.1 av receiver. great for gaming!

Hi, I can offer £250 for the TX-P55VT65B cash on collection. Can possibly collect today or Sunday. Have you got pics of the QXAV?

Hi crg295,

I see you’ve been browsing this thread so have seen my offer on the TV. If you could let me know your thoughts on my offer ASAP it would be greatly appreciated.

I would definitely take the TV.

I might take the other bits but would need to see the stand.

Sorry to be a bit pushy but would like to make plans asap

Best regards

Hi skinimin,

Thank you for your offer, its not quite enough, the 50” model is averaging £280 on a well known auction site.

I don’t have pictures of the QXAV but I can sort some out if you’re interested in the above package.
I have just taken a couple of pics, don’t judge my photography skills!567A464C-1A57-4D59-B035-A9A2CBEE357B.jpegE25F0B56-FE81-42FC-8E86-A14AC13DA6A4.jpeg9854FE67-D259-43DA-A678-5248A2F9BECE.jpeg

Just wanted to say any marks that appear on the screen are reflections.

Thanks

Hi, A 55 sold for £199 last week! Also you need to factor in auction site fees and any other foibles of selling on that particular platform.

What are you willing to accept for the TV?

Stand is not really my thing but if getting it all out of your way sweetens the deal then I might take it off your hands?

I have looked on evilbay buddy and I can’t find a 55VT65B for £200, last similar item that sold was a 50VT65B for £297

I would go to £300 for the TV

It’s a 4 hour round trip for me so I also have to take that into account. I can pay via bank transfer on collection too if you’d rather not take cash?

Really would be good if we can deal at £250 would help to pay the electricity bill for running it ;-)

To be fair it is sold with no stand and a universal remote from a house clearance.

I think my best price would be

£450 the lot,

£2000+ TV
£1200 stand
£1000. AV Receiver

They are obviously new prices but its roughy 10% of the new prices. I think thats a fair price. The tv has the original remote, the smart remote and the stylus, the onkyo has the set up mic and one of the best learning remotes I have ever received from a manufacturer!

Do you have a box for the amp? Can the stand be easily taken apart for transportation?

I can figure out a box, it might not be the original. If memory serves its allen key, I can have it taken apart and I’ll print a pdf of what goes where.

Hi I've been mulling it over & I'm happy to do £275 on the TV but I really don't need the other bits and don't want to insult you with a low ball offer for them. Amp would obviously come in handy but I already have a newer Denon AVR so would only be stored. If stand will fit in my car & it helps get it out of your way & your space back I could take it but it has no WAF & I'm not sure what I'd do with it. Sorry.

That’s okay, it’s quite a niche stand, very useful for locking the doors to keep little fingers out. I appreciate the offer to take it but my sons just moved out so I can gift it him.

Okay the Panasonic......Deal £275

Lets take it to conversation.

I can’t leave skinimin feedback for some reason, I suspect its because we are not the thread starters.

However everything went really smooth, as I have found with most of my dealings here, skinimin is a credit to the forum. Punctual, personable. I’d gladly trade again, should our paths cross.

Similarly I cannot leave feedback for crg925.

I'd like to thank crg925 for letting me come & collect at such short notice & being so welcoming & helpful.

It's a great TV & I am very pleased with it. I hope you enjoy your replacement.

Would happily trade again.
