Bought the full version of FixTunes last night, it worked pretty well, although some of the artwork is wrong. but out of 4500 songs it only messed up 30 or so, happy enough with that.

Anyway, if anybody wishes to buy it, i have been givin a discount code to give to my friends...

I've never heard of this software - After it has identified your music and "repaired" it do you know if iTunes automatically picks up the corrections? Currrently I correct anything through iTunes hence not knowing if I correct teh source file whether iTunes will pick up the correction.

Has anyone else used this application, it's not a lot of money (after the discount code has been applied) and promises to do a lot.

    Thanks

I might give that a go myself. It's only since getting an iPod Classic that I realised how badly so much of my music was tagged!

Fixtunes takes forever to even process all my songs' existing tags. I've left it running overnight twice and it's crashed both times

There's no way I'm fixing them all by hand, I'd be doing it til the end of my days. Any other programs/solutions?

I wouldn't trust any app to auto tag all my music.

Mediamonkey, Jtagger and album art updater are the three i use, all perform slightly different functions

Jtagger is usefull for updating tags an album at a time but you have to manually edit txt.

Mediamonkey is useful for updating Track names

album art updater does what it says on the tin (and very well)
