fixing subwoofer

    My 4 year old active subwoofer is buzzing im guessing its the transformer that is loose i was wondering how to tighten it?

    Have you changed any other equipment around lately? You could have induced a ground loop somewhere. I think that your first port of call should certainly be tightening up the fixings as you suggest - just get the relevant screwdriver and tighten the driver and amplifier mountings whilst being careful not to strip the internal wood thread. :)

    I have recently replaced my old reciever and all cables with new ones. I'll tighten it all up and see what happens. Thanks.
