Fixed projector screen mount

Novice Member
Hi. I hope someone has done this before. I am thinking about getting a projector setup for my house. But I’d like the screen to be movable left to right. Has anybody ever attached a screen to something like a tv wall mount? Or what did you do?
Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen such mounts on the market, but I imagine it more like an installed rail on the ceiling and you attach a regular mount on that rail. In this way it can slide from left to right. I can draw it if you will.

I fixed mine to a cheap TV mount. I cut the rails that fix to the wall in half, then fixed each half on the wall at opposite ends of the screen. The hook type clamps are then fixed to the screen frame. Allows for left, right, up, down and tilt adjustment. Works great. Mount was similar to this (can’t remember the exact one).
