Please discuss. Please do not deviate from the topic at hand.
Please do not mention any CRT projection devices. Discussion of different projector manufacturers is allowed but only in regard to your "desire" for them. If you wish to discuss deviation from the above with regard to CRT then please use the thread in that forum.

    Gordon

Surely any projector is only a means to an end? It's there to deliver whatever it is you want to watch with the least amount of cods'ing up of the picture. It's what you watch that's either better than sex, or not, not the projector. As to whether what you're watching is better than sex, well, I'd think that rather depends on how accomplished the person you're having sex which determines the answer to that particular question.

    Regards

    Mark

While there is no doubt that fixed pixels projectors are “HOT” and often perfectly formed I have never found them to be better than sex either Mark. I do know some folk who do appear to be fixated on theirs unhealthily but such psychiatric issues aside I think most owners would agree that there are better things to do than lock yourself in a dark room looking at flashing lights……well, at least not every night.

    What's not to like.

Any lover of cinema now has the ability at reasonable cost to recreate the 'big' screen wow effect in the comfort of there own living rooms without having idiots infront of you talking on a cell phone. Magic :)

I feel likey that i've been there at the beginning of true cinema quality home projection.
In a couple of years (5-10) the performance of these devices will be stunning.

At least we won't be having those types of debates over lcd vs dlp.

This thread died a death very quickly?

Infact the "other" similiar thread died just as quick!

Do we "front projection" guys lack this much humour?

Apparently this thread is 100% better than the other one though. :)
