Hi
I am planning i running a Benq W1200 in a windowless basement room. Once finished it will be all black - floors/ceiling/walls. Which screen would bing out the best in the projector in these conditions?

Looking around i like the look of the DRH screens. Do i need high gains (1.2 etc) or more contrast.

thanks for your help.

Buy an 8ft x 4ft x 8-10mm thick sheet of mdf, paint it one side with 2-3 coats matt white paint.Frame it with a 2" or 4" wide border of sticky back black velcro and for under £50 you have as good a screen as you can buy for £300.

Total time to make: an afternoon with virtually no diy skills.

Cost:
Mdf sheet £10 approx
paint £10 approx
border £25 approx
fittings £5

This will give you a screen size 106-110" with a 2:0 aspect ratio which minimises black bars when watching 2.35 movies.
