Hi,
My garage conversion is virtually complete so I'm now looking for a new screen for my Hitachi TX200. My current screen is a Graywolf II which is I feel, at 92", slightly too big for my viewing distance of around 11'. In addition, in dark viewing conditions I don't like the general characteristics of this screen. It's 'shimmery' and I feel the image looses sharpness as a result. The picture is easier to watch with ambient light !
The new room is totaly light controlled, with no windows, and I've painted it 'odeon blue' it's actually called dramatic blue, but it's basically a very dark inky blue (wasn't brave enough to paint the room black!!)
I'm looking for a fixed frame 16/9 screen of around 72" - 82" diagonal.
I want to achieve the best image I can, and definitely want a non-beaded matt screen, but without spending a fortune.
Am I likely to get a good enough fixed frame screen for around the £300 mark and can anyone recommend a make and supplier ?
