Fitting DAB aerial to TV aerial mast

Is there any significant reason why I should not fit a DAB aerial to the same mast as my TV aerial - albeit a bit lower down?

No problems as long as you leave sufficent vertical distance between the 2 aerials, otherwise 1 or both could be adversely affected.
You really need the max distance between them that doesn't result in badly reduced DAB reception; try starting at 2 or 3 feet away and then experiment in either direction noting the degradation on both DAB and TV until you find an acceptable compromise.
