Well the first review for The Two Towers has appeared on the internet from HotDog magazine. Not to sure if this is a real review or some made-up piece of journalism, but whatever the truth it sure does get the pulse racing for December 18th, can't wait.:D

You can see the review here. Pages 4 and 5 contain the review, happy reading.

*If you do not know what happens in TTT then this review contains some spoliers*

I am having a screening of the extended version on Saturday afternoon as I have not had time to sit down and watch it yet. December 18th just can not come quickly enough!

This is one of the reasons why I think this review maybe false as Peter Jackson has already said the Helms Deep battle is not 45 minutes long, it is probably only 20. Also why has there been no other reviews yet (especially internet reviews), I am not even sure if the press have had a screening yet.

20 minutes, 45 minutes either way it's all good.

Does anyone know how long the film will be?

I should imagine the same length as the theatrical version of the Fellowship, but someone might know the exact minutes.

179 minutes so buy plenty popcorn, bring a cushion and remember to go to the toilet before it starts ;).

it did kind of sound as tho it was written by an over-enthusiastic teenager, no self respecting film journo would have filed that. my reviews were never that shabby.:D

*Be warned though there are loads of plot spoliers in this review so if you do not want to know stay well away.*

There is an article in Empire this month (Loads of TTT stuff btw) that tells of a massive argument between Jackson and the Studio over the running time of the film - he wanted it to be a lot longer, but they made him cut it down (and even re-shoot some scenes). Hopefully all the cut stuff will be in the DVD.

    Ooooo can't wait!!!!!!!

I'm more looking forward to the DVD release than the actual film release ... anyone know if there'll be a Two Towers extended version, & when the DVD release will be?

A guess would be a 2 disc version in August followed by a 4 disc extended version a month before Return of the king is released next December :clown:
