    Hello,

New to these forums as of 5 minutes ago, but it seems like there are a lot of people in the know on here that may be able to give me some advice.

I fancy buying a plasma but it would seem that my strict budget of £2000 might be a bit of a problem. I've been searching around for a few days now for advice and reviews and everything seems a little out of my price range.

What would you guys say is the best for my budget? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi there.
If you want a decent 42/43" plasma for £2k your going to have a difficult search (i.e. juts about impossible new). About the only decent one anywhere near that figure would be Panasonic's TH-42PWD6BX.....

Been reading lots of good things about the PW6 though. Does anyone recommend this as a good first choice?

Its OK as far as plasma's in general go.....It is better than most but they all still have issues.....The biggest thing to check is that it has the correct input type for your use and it works with your kit.....

Really depends on what extras you need, you can get hold of the TH-42PWD6B
for 1699 from richersounds and then have 300 to play with.

I am also considering buying the PW6 as many people on this forum reccommend and own it.
