    Hello to everyone,
    I am new here.
I just bought a Denon AVR-X1400H. This will replace my old all-in-one JVC home theater system.
I will keep for a few months my old satellite speakers, but I need to buy an active subwoofer (the old one is passive). One to mach my next loudspeakers.
I plan to buy 5 speakers from Indiana Line Nota series. Or something similar.

But first, I need a subwoofer. I intend to spend no more than 350 Euros for the sub.

What do you say? Please share your experience.

Be careful using old speakers. If they are below 4 ohm, if should tell you on the speaker info label, that could prove damaging to the receiver. Otherwise have a look at BK or SVS subs to suit your budget.

It is OK, my old speakers are labeled 6 ohm.
Unfortunately BK are not for sale in my country. I really wish a SVS sub but is over my budget, they start from 600 Euros (svs sb-100).
Any other brands I should look for?

It's difficult to recommend any subs because of your country's pricing. Tell us what's available and go from there. Glad your speakers will be fine.

    Thank you.
Almost every important brand is available but not always prices are the same as in western countries.
I have to make my decision between:
    Klipsch
    Wharfdale
    Jamo
    Audio Pro Addon
    Acoustic Energy
    Polk
    Monitor audio
    Taga harmony
    Dynavoice Magic
    Indiana Line Basso
    Boston Acoustic
    Emotiva BasX
    JBL
    Cambridge Audio
    Activ Apart
    KEF
    Focal

All brands above, not to mention Sony, Yamaha and Pioneer, have models priced around 350 Euros. I am not familiar with all that brands and I appreciate your advice.

That's a big list. What I suggest is that you find one that is closest in output to the passive you already have as all subs basically do the same job and with keeping your current speakers there is little point in spending too much. I would look closer at Klipsch, Cambridge Audio and Wharfdale.

    Thanks.
    I will keep in mind.
I was also advised about Emotiva subs and I might buy one of the models.
