After an extended period of good weather (and no work!)
I've finally got around to finishing the exterior of my building

It's block built with full foundations and damp membrane..screeded inside and out.

I've battened and wood clad the outside to make it look less like a fallout shelter (hence the name 'Bunker'!)
also drainage is taken care of via the guttering and water butt
Ventilation courtesy of a small self contained aircon unit
Next comes the hard part of plasterboarding the inside!!
(and persuading the missus to choose a door!)

    What are the internal dimensions?

It looks quite small from the piccy, but I guess it can't be.

    It's 12' 9" x 9' 9" and 7' 6" high up to the joists (about a 6" cavity for cabling baffling

I'm expecting to lose about 12-18" of the front to back dimensions and about 9" of the sides in the treatment and wallcovering stages

Still unsure as to whether I'll go for in/on wall or freestanding rears though
I have a set of B&W in walls in the front room and really like them

    I'm a fan of B&W's in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. Very good quality.

Are you thinking of using them for all 4 surrounds?

It'll only be 2 surrounds..I don't subscribe to the new formats really.

The fronts wil be TDL for definite...I've still not heard anything close to the RTL-4s in the years since I've had them.
The only problem might be the smaller space.
