Hi all I am looking to purchase my first LCD flatscreen tv... I have looked around a few online and instore and have seen one that seems good value.

LG 32LD450 32" Full HD 1080p LCD with freeview RRP £339.99 (find link below)

LG 32LD450 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

I tried to find out some specs on it but don't know the refresh rate 50, 60, 100 Hz??? Is 100 Hz or above the one I need to stop motion blur??? is £339 good value for this size???

I know its just a stab in the dark but if anyone knows a little more or knows someone with or has this tv I would like to know what it is like...quality of picture, etc

Thanks in advance :hiya:

I'm looking to get the 47LD450. I believe it is 50Hz, the LD550 model above it is 100Hz. But from what I've read the refresh rate doesn't really mean that much on LCD screens, it's more important on CRT screens. The response time is 4ms which is more important. The LD550 touts a response time of 0.001ms but the human eye cannot see anything under 14ms so it's all marketing hype IMO.

I've looked at the LD450 in a few stores and did not see any motion blur. I know it's difficult to judge in a store but the picture looked superior to the other TV's in the same range. I've read a lot of reviews on the LD450 series and they are all very positive.
