First Build

Right well.... I'm a newbie when it comes to hardware.
This will be my first build (i would have one built for me but I want to buy the parts monthly because of a lack of funds)

This is the list of components that I have selected, I was just hoping that someone could confirm that all the hardware will run/fit/work together.

A few points - why are you buying an extra cpu cooler (it looks like the standard one you already get with retail cpus) - why 16GB of ram - 8GB should be more than enough - the 1TB hard drive is only 5400rpm and will be a bit slow if you are using this as your main drive - have a look for a 7200rpm one.

This is me being too hastey to select items :) Thank you for pointing this out to me. Other than your suggested changes, are there any other changes you feel need to be made?

Well as you are getting a separate graphics card I wouldn't buy an AMD setup - I would buy a budget Intel H61 or B75 motherboard plus a Core i3 cpu.

What are you using it for? Given the high ram and FX processor it would seem like some sort of modelling or maybe video editing setup?

You want DDR3-1600, it won't make a lot of difference for many uses but it's the same price so it doesn't make any sense to buy the slower DDR3-1333.

The GTX 560ti is a horrible card generally, overpriced, inefficient and slow. If you need to go nVidia then the GTX 650ti is a much better choice with 90% of the performance but half the power consumption and a significantly lower price.

You don't need a large 500W power supply for that setup, especially if you switch to a more efficient card. 300-400W of reasonable quality is fine.
