    Hi All,

Is there any "tried and tested" FIRMWARE UPDATE yet for the Sim2 RTX 55 H (HDMI version) to help the DIOP and display to "load" more consistently. Not a big issue I know, but it would be good if Sim 2 could look into it and get some firmware to remedy it.

    Thanks,

    M.J.

I have 2.46.09 for the RTX that I can send you.

Hopefully that will help with your issue.

I have to say that other RTXs I have supplied have not shown similar communication issues with the same firmware as yours.

If you are powering up both devices from the mains switches, make sure you turn on the display then the DOIP.

    Hope this helps

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

Is this new firmware 2.46.09 finalised (i.e. tried and tested?).

Sim told me they occassionally have communication problems like this but as I have said, it is only occassionally that it does it. Then I have to reboot it. It normally happens when I have company (which is a little embaressing).

I always turn the display on first then the DOIP. It's habit now.

Thanks for your help and if the Firmware has been tried and tested I'd like to take you up on it. Thanks again for your help and service.
