Firmware update for Pan HS2

Is there any firmware updates flying about for the Pan HS2..?? I have done a search but found nothing.

I can't speak with any authority on this but I think that any updates are unlikely on any of the existing models. Panasonic etc would much rather sell you a new recorder and there seem to be quite a few on the way.

on the whole though I think the firmware mentioned here hasn`t yet been fully tested ..........but maybe its worth a try.

I upgrade my HS 2 to region free. The disc that came with the package updated the firmware. I now have Region free plus it cured the lipsync problem

You stated that you made yours region tree and got rid of lip sync prob
Where did you get it from????????????
