The firmware update to Panasonic DVD recorders and HD\DVD DMR-EZ25, EZ45V, EX75, EX85, EX95 is due to transmitted again this weekend according to:

IT will update to V1.16 and is being broadcast Friday to Monday 31st August 2007 to 3rd September 2007
Based on questions asked before:
It seems to be a fix for a problem with the decoding of one of the multiplexes (don't ask what that means I don't know!!)
You need to be connected to a TV aerial which can receive a good freeview signal for it to work. The update is not broadcast over sky or cable.
You can setup the DVD recorder to do the update automagically in the background. Read the manual for the warnings about this.
It will only do these devices not other models.
