Hmm, definitely a step in the right direction. I wouldn't mind a SNES emulator to get working now.
Great news though. While I do agree that Sony should try to stop people pirating games, I do think that the loss of homebrew is a major blow to the machine.
good news if it does indeed work. think i'll wait for someone to confirm it works before trying it myself though...
i wouldnt crack open the champagne just yet!! LOL
I think Chrislad hit the nail on the head, piracy is bad news but homebrew is good because it offers the users software that Sony aren't interested in developing, it is a shame that an agreement (i.e. licence) can't be agreed upon for home brew.
Yeah we all no, piracy is bad, do gooders blah blah blah...
I agree pretty much, before anyone jumps me.
Although from what I've seen people who use things like emulators are well into pirating games for themselves only. Including myself.
I used to play loads of mega drive games on kgen about 6 years ago. The games were'nt sold anymore so in my eyes I was doing no wrong.
And I would pirate any game\dvd for personal use because at the end of the day. If a game is good - I'll know its good before buying it - e.g just bought burnout legends for the psp.
Something that I'm not sure about like lumines, I'd download it for sure. There is no way I'd risk my money to buy something that might be a pile of tat.
Uhhh, sorry I actually thought someone might care what I think for a minute there but I guess we all have pretty much the same POV at the end of the day
I totally afree with you Robo
Lumines is great. It takes a while to get into, but it's one of the best puzzle games out there.
