Is anyone going to be attempting to take some firework shots over the weekend?

I might take my camera to a bonfire tonight and have a go.

I've only got my little cam at the moment but this estate is normally like a bombing mission so I might venture outside. As I type the fun has already begun

I have tried for the last 2 bonfire nights, and despite the odd fire shot, I have never taken anything remotely interesting, I'm generally to busy lighting the fireworks to take photo's:)

I've just posted my firework photo as an entry to the Nov comp here

Thought it was quite good but having just seen yours Jason now not so sure. :( Yours are excellent though! :smashin:

The missus is out tonight so I am left home looking after my son so I can't go out to a display. Had to make do with the view out of my attic window and my 3x zoom. :(

i was quite lucky there were so many fireworks being set off!! and i had a wonderful setting .
i was shocked how well they came out myself considering it is a 3 year old fuji point and shoot (2600z),thats part of the reason i purchased a new camera it gave me a photography bug
