    Hi

I have a JVC GRDX95EK and a Fujitsu Siemens computer with Windows XP.

    I need a firewire cable, do I need a 4pin to 4 pin, 4 to6 or 6 to 6 cable. As you may realise I am clueless!!

    Any help?

Also I have installed the JVC editing software (Imagemixer), but also have Movie Maker 2. I haven't really looked closely at either yet, but wondered whether anyone had any idea what would be best for a beginner like me editing my first holiday video?

    Thank you in anticipation.

    Phil B

To connect a camcorder to a PC you will need a 6 pin to 4 pin cable.

I have never seen the JVC software, but have used MS MM2. It is very easy to use and would IMO be a good starting point for a new user.

    Mark.
