Something like this? Maybe worth a call to CPC to see if they can provide just the cable if it's the right one.

If you don't get anywhere with CPC a Google search for "external ide firewire" will produce a whole host of external enclosures. I guess the other options are to buy an enclosure complete & transfer your HDD to it or, if you simply want to recover the files, temporarily install the HDD directly into your PC.

It should be relatively straight forward to remove the drive from the Iomega case & you can then just treat it as a standalone 120Gb IDE that can be installed as a secondary (slave) drive. Without wishing to cause offence, your other thread would suggest that you don't have sufficient knowledge to undertake this. I would strongly recommend that you exhaust the search for a cable first or entrust this job to a professional as it could all too easily end in tears (& no data!).

If the cable is going to cost you more than about £20 - £25 it would be worth you googling on installing a new HDD. Alternatively, buy a new external enclosure and move the drive over. A good resource for external enosures, with advice, is www.span.com.

    Good luck
