Trying firefox 14 beta, the new tab thing brings up a grid with empty grey boxes.

What does it do ?, On opera you have a similar screen which you add sites manualy.

How do I use the firefox version ?

Thats been around for a while now , use the browser for a bit and it will populate that grid with links to the last websites youve been too.

Wondering if the firewall is blocking it, having the same problem across multiply computers. Its just blank and its not set to delete on exit.

No add-ons either have tried resetting the one on windows but it has made no difference.

Will have a look at it later, thanks.

Type: about:config and then type newtab.

You should get the following:

browser.newtab.url - about:newtab
browser.newtab.enabled - true

After a another reset of firefox its working.

I see its more like top sites in safari than speed-dial in opera.

Might be time for a fresh install of windows.

Thanks again.
