What a dilema! I used to love this as a kid and would sit making Fireball XL5 models out of my Lego set but I'm 46 now and I reckon that I'd be wondering what I'd bought that "load of old tosh" for after watching a few episodes.
I would certainly rent it out though
I agree but at that price thought it was worth a punt. I am 49!! Bought the Stingray set (from Aus for about £15) and have watched a few, found it quite amusing
I'm not sure I could handle the strange looks from my wife and kids as I sat watching these puppets (with visible strings) in b&w too.
As you say though, it might be worth a punt for old times sakes.
I'm waiting for "Four Feather Falls" to be released
Bet none of you remember that!
Oh yes we do..Tex Tucker!
What was the Indian called ?
I know the lyrics had something like Kaya Kallamakooya Kuma Kaya in them what ever that meant was that any thing to do with the Indians?
Did you know Nicholas Parsons was the voice of Tex Tucker,
By the way I bought Flash Gorden series the other week and it just cracks me up. The number of time someone mentions a secret passage is un-believable, and they are suppose to be attacked by a octopus and they call it a octosack.
I always thought that the Indian awas called Kallmakooya and the little indian child was called "little makooya".
.Anyone remember "Space Patrol " ?
Garrett - I regularly sing that tune. You got the lyrics spot on.
Yup Larry Dart, The Galasphere, Martian sausages, creepy robots and the gabelerdicta (the strange bird).
Space Patrol was educational (in other words pants)
and is available on Dvd
