Not really if this should go in the Classifieds, HTPC, or this section of the site, but i figure it's mainly an issue due to my CRT, so i'll try in here first!

I'm basically looking to buy an Extron box or similar to buffer the VGA output of my HTPC to normal RGBHV standards. A google search brings up no useful results, and Ebay UK is sparse on one i actually want (found a few, but they're only RGBS and i need the full RGBHV)

Anyone know of any places that maybe aren't on the web that would carry something like this? Or maybe someone has one lying about that they would consider parting with? It's going to an extremely good home i promise!

    Many thanks in advance,

Sean (sorely missing big screen action)

I have an Extron RGB109plus and some BNC cables, that I was keeping for a rainy day.
But, I might sell, if the price was right.

Had you a budget in mind?

BTW why do you need it?

    Regards

Hi Brian, you can read about my problem here:

    http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131095

An Extron RGB 109plus would be perfect. How long are the BNC cables? I actually just won an Extron SC210 sync box on Ebay, to see if that will solve the problem, but it looks like it will work better if i use it in conjunction with an interface.

Budget wise i'm not really sure what's fair, there's an RGB 134xi which would do for $11.99 buy it now, which is rediculously cheap, but they won't ship internationally. I can only really do about £25 inc P&P at the moment, but i suspect at this little, the price is wrong!

Let me know what you think,

    Sean

I have lots of that brand rgb boxes with cases and everything. I will ship to you from the US. Give me a few days to get you the specs.
    Thanks

Thanks Nick. Let me know if you have anything suitable.

Was my offer offensively low Brian?

    Sean

    Sorry, for not replying sooner.
    The BNC cables are 2x RGBHV @ 3M and 1x RGBS @ 8M.
Your offer did not offend me, LOL, But its not quite enough to make me part with it.
I think we can probably sort something out?

    Regards

Hi Brian, I am currently waiting on this sync box to arrive from the USA, but if it doesn't 100% solve my problems i will be sure to let you know, i will be able to make you a better offer in a few weeks, but i'm currently "In between" jobs. If i was to take it off your hands i would just need the box (if i remember correctly the RGB109plus has the VGA lead hardwired into it? Which i would need) and a short RGBHV lead.

That said, i will let you know what the situation is as it happens :)
