Hi all looking for abit of advice from people in the know on this forum.

Iam ready to buy my first plasma screen but with prices in free fall the past few months and all the talk about HD Tv iam abit confussed as to what to buy?

Screen needs to be 37" to 42"
and Be able to be wall hung.

I will also need the speakers amp and any converters or boards for which ever panel is bought.
I will be mainly watching sky on the screen but of course will what to play dvd's and plug my play station in.

I have got an old Sony DAV-S300 system at home should i be going for something like this but newer or not????? :lease:

Hope someone on here will be able to help I have read "help the beginner"
but the price's seem to be changing all the time.

last thing what cables would be needed to be sunk into the wall if i was to wall hung the screen? and finally got around the £2000 mark.

    andy

Wait for the new panasonic viera p500 series, it's beautiful and hd ready, will probably go down in price very fast. Another option if that's too expensive is to get the lg lx11 or 12 series, should be pretty good.
