First of all, does the Wii have a profile system similar to the xbox 360 so that my friends can have their own profile each without having to use my profile if they want to play a game on my wii? Also, I am using the official av component cable but is there any settings i need to do on my wii settings or does it automatically change to 480p?

The Wii has something similar to Xbox 360 profiles. You can create your own Mii's, but these are only used in Nintendo games such as Wii Sports and Wii Play etc. Strangely other games by 3rd parties seem to have their own profiles, tied to the game.

To get a 480p mode picture, you'll need to go into the Wii system setup and change this to 480p manually.

Screen burn dims the screen when the Wii has been idle for a while, it prevents screen burn (hence the name) on Plasma screens, LCDs and the like. Turn it on, it's useful. :smashin:

Do you have to pay for each online profile like xbox live?
