    Right thats it!

Finally made my mind up. Going to get the Tosh 42wlt58. I hope I've made the right choice. My head is in a right spin with looking. I've had to make my mind up now because my currently TV (faulty PV500 panny plasma) is knackered and going back on Monday, and i dont wont to be teleless for too long!

RGBdirect £2,512 incl del and 3yr warranty but have no stock for at least one more week.

Buyyourav £2,415 for the same but no stock til Tuesday.

TVandvideodirect £2,478 for same bit no stock til Thursday/Friday.

    Soundandvision. Not listed

Any others i should consider. Seems like noone has stock as yet but there are all sue stock this coming week.
First impressions from phone calls is that tvandvideodirect seem the better outfit.

    Any advise/experiences to offer.

    Thanks to you all.

That warranty site has all we need to know about 'issues' with plasmas.

No 5 year warranty available and the 3 year has limitations and a £200 price hike. I love the look of the latest plasmas but I'd need one that has a 5 year warranty (= www.johnlewis.com ).

Just noticed the floor stand is an optional extra on that site too, another £150.

I thought the stand was supposed to be free with this tv. It is on the other sites

It looks like the stand is optional but it's included in the bundle:

I've never bought from LEConcepts but know folk who have and they've been pleased. if worried about the stand I'd drop them an email.

As for the end of October date maybe that's the real date for this TV.

Yeah, no problem with them. Domestic & General provide the underwriting and it's more expensive going through them (no need to enter model number)

Lots of insurance companies provide warranties and it's worth looking around.
