After many years of looking from afar, I have decided to post my modest home cinema which came about after many hours looking at this site.
Finally managed to complete the project after being made redundant from the Army in December,
I do hope its up to the very high standard that is shown on this site day in day out.

Great looking room - however could do with some better snaps?

Nice effort indeed.

hats off from an ex squaddie!

Nice and very intriguing in many ways. Trying to work out what you've used on the walls, is that acoustic treatment? Whatever it is, I like it :smashin:

Don't think your pics are doing it full justice but a great room.

Thanks for the positive reviews so far. yes it is some acoustic tiles that I purchased from Amazon mainly due to the house being a semi detached and trying to cut down the noise travelling through to the neighbours (No Noise complaints so far!!)

Also the home made film racks are actually an old billy bookcase painted matt black and cut to size.
I must try and get some better pictures.

Do you have a build thread ?

Could you let us know the overall size please ?

Thanks.

Was going to use the foam panels when I turned my room into a bat cave so its nice to see how they would have looked, which in this case is very good :smashin:

And as above more details, kit list, screen sizes, etc.
