After many months of projector stress ,deciding what to get i have finally dropped a deposit on one  I hope i ain't dropped a bollock. I had decided on a Hitachi, sony hs20 then a z3 then a sony h50    but after two demos convinced my self DLP was the way to go, i did suffer slight eye strain but no VB, poor blacks or flicker so i ordered a.. infocus 7200 for £2500  way more cash than i planned but a bargain i feel. Hopefully i will not have to change my non progressive sony nv900 dvd player and have possible future proofed for high def

So long as your DVD player has component, then that's fine. The Infocus can do all the de-interlacing internally and bloody well too I might add !!
You've got yourself a real bargain there my friend. ENJOY !

Thanks oaklyspatz yes it has gold plated component my player was £900 when new..picked it up for £260 [blinding bargain] built lovely had it about 3yrs now. I didn't want another player as dvd is to undergo a major change soon this is why i have gone for the 7200, with good scaling, saves me buying a new DVD player. :smashin:
