A few years ago I invented a rival 'sport' to this called Extreme Reading. It's basically the same as Extreme Ironing except, instead of ironing your underwear on Mount Everest, you have to read a randomly selected passage of text in an extreme location of your choice. After the time limit has expired, a judge asks you questions about what you just read and points are scored for correct answers and also for the extremity of your chosen location.

The point of this is to answer one simple question: can having a shark in your face distract you from appreciating the prose of Charles Dickens?

Just one question......why??????

Signs - maybe this is something your better half can get involved in with the new iron you kindly bought her for Christmas..... Scuba Diving lessons for her birthday and she's sorted :smashin:

I've always loved the Extreme Trifle site, my favourite being the Cheesy Rider Challenge :D

If Only I had the time and money....
