What lousy picture quality. The Truman Show was the worst disc I had in my collection as far as edge enhancement is concerned, but Final Fantasy earns the trophy with its fat triple edges and simultaneous blurriness. Since I have not seen the whole movie but only the opening before the edge ringing gave me a migraine attack, I have not yet experienced the much debated grain. I have however not seen ringing this bad since Jurassic Park on prerecorded VHS, 8 years ago.

I will not bother to watch the movie anyway. I got it to watch some groundbreaking rendering and that is not much of an experience when the video is in this condition.
