I saw this had been downloaded by Anytime a few days ago and noticed it said something to the effect of "Catch part 2 on Anytime soon".

I've just sat down to watch Part 1 and it's been completely removed from Anytime and replaced with Part 2. What's the point in that?

If you present people with Part 1 (incidentally it said it was available for about another week yet) why remove it and replace it with part 2. Anyone know why they didn't simply add part 2 on Anytime in addition to part 1?

Good question - it's stupid, isn't it?

Workaround is to record the first part while it's there (just start watching and press Record as usual), then when the second bit appears you can watch both one after the other.

That's exactly what I was going to do, didn't have the space on my planner though, so assumed it'd still be there for another week as it said it would, and then they go and replace it with part 2! Why couldn't they have put part 2 on there as well or leave it until part one had expired?

    Exactly.

When you're told you've got a few days to watch something and you plan on watching it the next day there's no point recording/saving it.

If I'd known Sky would remove all trace of it I would have done! :thumbsdow

It was shown twice in HD on SKY1HD which again makes you want to kick yourself for preferring the ad and dog free version on Anytime:)

For anyone that missed it, it wasn't great.

Unless you particularly enjoy movies with that, "made for TV" feel.

Not pants but a TV movie and as long as you view it as such it's no worse or better than 90% of the made for TV stuff and I have to admit the CGI wasn't too bad either.
