I have just fired up my new Infocus 7210 for the first time on a 7.5 ft screen and the damn thing is BRIGHT!! even on low lamp mode. I have read on these forums that people sometimes use filters to dim the image down a bit. Could someone please recommend a filter, where would get one and how much would it cost.

Get a 72mm ND2 filter - try Jessops for price.

Hoya HMC versions are the best ones to get as they have little or no effect on the image quality compared to some cheaper ones.
