I was watching The Spanish Prisoner recently after reading that it had one of the best twisting plots in a film, and I was wondering if there was any films out there that were good and had great twists in them that I had missed out seeing. Ignoring Usual Suspects, Heist, Shattered, Sixth Sense, Seven (only ones I can think of while typing this - sure there's plenty more) can you please perhaps recommend others that fit the bill.

Gothika - i can recommend avoiding this excuse for a film like you would avoid Cherie Blair in her birthday suit

I saw this a bit back and remember it vaguely but I think A Murder of Crows has a twist.

Dark City - But DO NOT WATCH THE OPENING SEQUENCE!!! The american test audience didn't underdstand it, so the whole plot is given away at the start *sigh*

Secret Window's a bit predictable - entertaining but I'd recommend renting rather than buying!

damn, was gonna say fight club. thought that was brilliant personally.. however since then most twists have been excuses to write crap films, and put in a twist so people have something to talk about. most are either obvious, or completely stupid (see the guy in the cafe at the beginning? he was the killer all along! wowzers. altho there's a film that does do this that works well, and isn't centred around the twist. i won't say the name because if you haven't seen it, it'll distract. was on tv a few weeks ago tho...) , whereas fight clubs was done superbly.

not as bad as the eternally lazy "leave it to the viewer to decide" ending, which again.. has been done well, but only a few times.

Saw. All anybody seems to mention is the blood/gore but nice little twist in a couple of places and good to see Danny Glover an a different role.
