Are there any websites that provide downloadable, high quality wav or MPEG film files? I'm specifically after audio grabs from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre but some stuff from Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, The Silence Of The Lambs and Hannibal would also be pretty nice.

No Texas Chainsaw or Hannibal, sadly, and only one audio clip from Apocalypse Now. The search goes on...

If you get the ImToo DVD audio ripper, you can do it for yourself - provided you have the dvds of course.

No probs. I tried to provide a link but it ***** a bit of it out, so maybe it's against forum rules or summat. Anyway, a quick google will find it for you. Very good it is too.

I've downloaded it but can't really work it out, to be honest. Is there some kind of support menu to help you use it? I don't want to copy the entire soundtrack as one file; just specific bits of dialogue. Will I be able to do this with this program?

    Apologies for my ignorance.

There's support/FAQ's on the website. Just work out which chapters have the bits you want, tick that/those chapters & untick the others, and then extract them. If you wanna edit them afterwards, I can highly recommend this bit of software
http://www.pistonsoft.com/mp3-splitter.html which is one of the best/easiest bits of software I've ever used. There are other free MP3 splitters available obviously though.

Used the free trial version, liked it & so bought the full version as the trial one only does 5 mins maximum length, which is obviously not enough for songs/clips that are longer.
