has anyone played this over live???

    1. All I get is lag
    2. You can only select controller set 1, ie not 3 like im used to from the marketplace demo.

Please leave your thoughts here. Im on NTL 10MB and never experinced lag when playing GRAW or PGR3. Its the same on every game I play so its not the host.

Im not liking this whole thing that dodgy games can now be patched like a PC! They should be tested in full before release.

You can use config 3 online, all you do is go to online settings in the online menu. No lag at all for me:thumbsup:

lol sounds like you've had a bad experience!
    1) First impressions count and it looks like fight night has given you a bad one. In fact mostr of the games arent really laggy, just a few odfd ones here and there unless you have a really bad connection
    2) You can have config 3!! go to online seetings when on the online menu and change it from there!

Most people do, it's because it requires no skill. Mash mash mash. ;)

But who uses the buttons for punching? The analogue stick is the way to go, so much more variety and control with the punches.

Haven't looked at the other configs myself as I am so used to the demo default one now.

I think fnr3 "has won the rounds so far hands down" for the xbox 360 games. Live is so much fun. BUT there is one problem im having is that when i start a game on live it sometimes says somethin like; "your conection has been lost and your rank wont be affected" then I get disconected. This doesnt happen until i hit the oponent for the first time. Does this happen to anyone else? or do you know what the problem is?

    Totally disagree...

    Superb game!!

I've played with a few people online and was playing with a mate last night for a hour and i've had no lag whatsoever!

The graphics are great, the gameplay is great, live is great... :)

But i do agree that games should be released as a finished product and not need such updates.

    Thanks,

and for the fella who accused me of the button bashing - i use the analogue stick anyway for total punch control. See you online then :)

i've had some great fights online, i'm quite a n00b but have got a record of 4-3

the frustrating fights i've had are against 2 button bashers, can tell these by the fact that they never throw any haymakers and very few upper cuts when you view the stats after.
just reminds you of when you played street fighter 2 against the kids at school you never liked and they just go as eddie honda and hundred handslap all day !!! knobers

feel free to add SNuRCHeR to you friends list if you wanna scrap !!!

If they did, it would be a pretty quiet forum lol.

Cheerz Pooon but i think you misread my post m8. I was 'Informing' rather than 'Asking'. Its in the " My EA sports fight night round 3 " option of the Multyplayer menu ;)

Only last night I thought how well this runs online. It almost seems better online than offline with details seeming sharper to me.
Superb game. I'm so addicted to it that it's keeping me from GRAW.

It depends on what yours and other peoples pings are, if someone has a bad ping. It is most likey to not help out the ping of the game being hosted. I check out sometime what the ping is like in my muliplayer games.

a question about the online play:

Do you always fight from the left hand side? i.e. the default side of the screen, and therefore, is your opponent always on the right hand side. But from your opponents point of view, it is you that is on the right hand side.

So the 360 automatically flips the opponent to the right, even though on their screen their fighter is on the left. um, does that make sense...

No....I have fought a couple of times from the 'right' side - takes a little bit of getting used to but no big deal:)

Hmm, I always find it trickier to fight from the right, no idea why really, the controls are the same. I think it's just being too used to attacking from the left hand side.

    thanks.
