    i know which one you mean but some people were showing concerns that it might be a near copy of the german special edition version which i am lead to believe is inferior picture wise to the superbit version!!! that's what i read a while ago anyhow...

    I just received the R3 from CDWow, I'm not sure if it is the same as the R1, but the picture is miles better than the current R2, and the dts soundtrack gives your system a really good workout, considering I only paid £7.49 for it, I'm well chuffed!

    Of course the new R2 special edition isn't going to be as good quality wise as the Superbit.It has a commentary on there as well, and various subtitle options as well. DUH!!!!

    AFAIK Superbits are identical (to the R1) around the world, just different region coding.
