I've done a search, but can't see a thread for this game (Mods - if there is one I apologise)

Dowloaded the demo last night and had a few games.

As a fan of football games, this is a prime example of 'pick up and play', but there's not enough substance to interest me.

After one game getting accustomed to the controls, was able to win most games by 3 or more goals, controlling either side. It is very easy to complete a couple of passes, then hit 'triangle' a few times for some flick-ups before burying the ball past Robinson or Dida (both as hapless as each other !!!), thus building up the 'Gamebreaker' (or whatever it's called) bar before hitting R1 to unleash invincibility.

It's fun, but not enough to warrant me buying it.

What do you guys think of it ??

I'm shocked to be honest. It must be a one off for EA, they don't normally make bad games

One of the worst games in the history. Been away alll week downloaded this and nba and found them both shocking.

Its clunky, unattractive, boring. Just totally uninspiring imo

I hated it too. I remember the 1st one on the ps2 being so much better as it tried to stay real life by doing moves that where only done if they could be motion captured.
Now its gone too underground (council estate garage) and cartoonie, and half of the moves can't be done in real life.
Way too ruin a franchise EA BIG !

(i think they did the same with the NFL street games as well)

The demo is pretty poor and seems more like a high resolution version of the Xbox/PS2 games then a current gen developed from the ground up sequel. I was looking forward to it but if the demo represents the quality of the final retail game then I certainly will be giving it a miss.

I retract my statement on Friday about it being fun. It's not.

Played it again, once more, Saturday morning; laughed at how ridiculous Reno Gattuso looks on the loading screen, and then deleted it.
