fifa 11 problem. freezing while playing online

while playing online the game freezes for a second makes a beep/squeek and then carries on with the game, some times its for a few seconds. its really annoying and very offputting wen playing.

Also it has started to crash mid game on line and i have to cancel the game which results in me losing points.....can anyone help me out here???

hey mate, has this only started since downloading the new firmware update? After i downloaded it and put fifa 11 on its crashed a few times while trying to log onto the server at the start, wonder if thats got something to do with it or maybe its 77 million ps3 users trying to play online at once

nah....it did it before all the mess up with ps network...was hoping others had the same problem an that its not my console giving up on me!!!

FIFA has some strange freezing issues noted on the single player also if you have a slim console, could be similar issue!!
