Hi There, I have recently set up my panasonic with the laptop, and experienced a whole world of beauty with HDef clips .... just amazing. My question is, for regular video / dvd playback, do fields exist on a pc output (VGA Connection) like they do with a regular dvd player / video signal. By this I mean, a pure video signal with fields is a very smooth playback, yet comparing the playback to a DVD on a pc, the movement is a lot more "jerky" well not really jerky as in the processor cant handle it, just when comparing one to the other. If anyone does video editing, you will know what i mean when you pause on a still frame with movement, on a TV you get the "wobble effect with fields" but this doesnt seem to happen on a plasma via VGA connection. I do a lot of video / graphics work, so trying to explain what I mean without being too technical I hope my jibberish makes sense and isnt too confusing.
