I just noticed that there's a new album being released called Morning Sun on 21/ November:D

I was a great fan of these many years ago and they released some quality material imo(followed them up to Elizium). Seems this album is going to be in the same vein as Elizium so might be worth checking out.

Just thought I'd give any other ageing goths the heads up :smashin:

On another note are there any more modern bands that sound similar to the Neph (dawnrazer, the nephilim, elizium) that are worth checking out?

I used to be a bit of a fan of these....sigh, those were the days - all about eve, the mission etc...not that I was a goth tho, but I loved all kinds of music!

Thanks for the tip-off, I have heard rumours that this CD was coming out, and have also heard rumours that the only connection with the original Neph, is that its a Carl McCoy Album.

A band that you might want to check out is NFD, who include Tony Pettit (ex- nephilim) in their line up, I saw them live last year, and they do a couple of Neph covers, the NFD lead singer sound so similar to Carl, it is amazing.

Nice find. I love the Nephs and thought the last album (Fallen) was very good, though more industrial sounding than their older material. Definitely will be getting that.

For new bands like the nephs, hmm. Guess you could try out The Way of All Flesh :)
