This is it. Tomorrow i am going to blue water and get my new LCD which will be either the Panasonic TX-32LXD500 or the Philips 32PF9830.

I will of course be seeing them both for myself but i want to know which screen YOU all think i should get?

    I am so undecided

    Cheers

    Lee

Lee, I'm in the same position with these 2 LCD's and looking through this forum it still hasn't helped me on which one I should decide to buy. I was thinking on getting the Panny as its in my price range, but was going to stretch for the Philips. So if your looking at these TV's could you give me your input on the 2. As I've looked around for a place that has both these TV's in the same place and have found none :(

    Anyway thanks in advance :)

I saw both together in a local Kendals store. Watched one of those Chinese martial arts films on Bose dvd player on both. In my opinion, with PP on, the Philips picture was a little too sharp, with movie plus it was much better than the Panasonic. Very little picture control on the Panasonic. I went for the Philips.

Me too. Get the Philips. Ambilight alone is the premium worth. And you get a twin tuner.
