    I'm trying out Meedio.
When I use the built in video player the picture displayed on my screen is correct. All the menu screens are also correct.
The problem occurs as soon as I tick the check box that says 'use ffdshow'.
Then, when I watch a film from my hard drive (my movies) the picture has black bars all the way round the screen.
If I turn off ffdshow everything is fine again.
I am using vmr9 with Nvidia codecs (withinh meedio).
The only part of ffdshow that is turned on is the blur & nr. If I tick resize & aspect the picutre gets even smaller (or zooms in far too much). I just can't get it right.
    Any suggestions?

By the way, my plasma is connected via the component connections on my gigabyte 6600gt graphics card. Native resolution of screen is 1024 x 1024.
Component is being fed at 720p.
