    1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!

How does the warranty work for the cpu if I was to buy from you?

well i am not sure with CPUs, as i am guessing it depends on whether or not the user leaves it standard or he/she overclocks its.

if you know beforehand that you intend to overclock it then, i would presume all risks/liabilites lie with the purchaser not the seller.

The warranty is usually direct through Intel via the id number on the cpu, overclocking them wont affect warranty at all as the "K" series are designed to do so. However putting too much volts though it and frying it when overclocking may void the warranty but again is hard to prove. It is very rare for a CPU to just randomly die without any outside influence from my experience.

Ok thank you both for the info. I can offer you £120. Any more than that I would prefer to buy new from somewhere like Amazon.

ok i understand but if its genuine intel and sealed with the proper tags/holographic stickers etc. (which it is) then it shouldn't matter whether it came from amazon/scan/cpc/ocuk/novatech/ebuyer or not, as they come in this same sealed state and intel retail package from any of those retailers.

but i cannot part with it for £120

That's Ok, every now and then it comes down to around £150 on Amazon. The only reason I would prefer to buy from them is purely because if anything goes wrong they send you a replacement the next day.

i see, but if they dont get the original one back, they bill your card again, so you pay for two

and presumably they run tests on the original cpu that was sent out, before just refunding your payment

Ok. Can you post a photo of the items along with your user name just to confirm you have them in your possession. No offence intended but you have low feedback. Thanks.
