Went for a drive with the family today and found A rapeseed field(which is a big deal as there is none near where live).

Took my little vulkanites to model.;) All taken with 50mm,set wirh large F's for the dreamy feel;)

All of those are really nice Alex, not entirely convinced about the purple filtered sky on the one though.

Have you done much PP to the skies?

    Lucky you, it stinks!!

The first one is the best for me, the sky in the others has been pushed a bit too far into the unnatural looking territory for my liking.
They're all good compositions though.

really nice set of pics, well done

i prefer the colour portraits than the b&w, i think in the 4th pic your little one would stand out more if it was colour

Yeah the skies were really hazy today,so borderline PP I know.I quite like them though.

I have all the NEF's so nothing that is destructive beyond repair, re -colour etc.

Oh! I got in a whole heap of trouble to, for bringing myself and the kids back covered in pollen.

    Thanks guys:thumbsup:

Great set Vulkan, and the portraits are especially superb!!

I like the Rapeseed 3 as well, I think the colours work well together. Was it done in photoshop or with a filter system??

I took some from a Rapeseed field the other day, and like TOMATO said it stinks, loads of it around near me....

I've been out shooting rapeseed again today too. Not as good as yours though.
I like the colour 0f #5 (even if it is a bit OTT) and the composition of #6 - nice curves. However, despite the extreme crop #3 is just outstanding.

Lovely shots... just what we've come to expect really:thumbsup:

Rapeseed 3 is veering into "artwork".... I like that but need to keep reminding myself the sky never really gets purple except in Kiddies fairy tales:rotfl:
